Use this page to submit a copy of your Post or District IRS Form 990 filing.
All Posts are required to file IRS Form 990 annually and provide a copy to the Department of Washington for compliance and record-keeping.
Submissions are routed to the Department Quartermaster and State Adjutant.
Department of Washington Quarterly Audit Requirement
Posts are required to complete quarterly financial audits conducted by the Post Trustees. These audits ensure that Post financial records are reviewed regularly and remain accurate and compliant with VFW policies.
Posts must:
• Complete a financial audit each quarter
• Have the audit reviewed and signed by the Post Trustees
• Submit the completed audit report to Department Headquarters NO LATER than 30 days after quarter end
