Nominate Humanitarian Award

The Humanitarian Award honors members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Auxiliary who have demonstrated exceptional compassion and service to homeless or needy veterans and their families. One award is presented annually to a VFW member and one to an Auxiliary member.

Nominee Eligibility

Nominees must be active members of the VFW or its Auxiliary.

Eligible service includes direct outreach, event coordination, education, or volunteer efforts.

VFW members can nominate Auxiliary members, and Auxiliary members can nominate VFW members.

If the nominee holds the position of Post Commander or Auxiliary President, their District Commander or District President must submit the nomination.

DUE DATE: April 15th
